About Me

My understanding of mental health and trauma changed fundamentally when I began working with TRTP in 2021.

Since then, I have been immersed in TRTP full-time as General Manager, Trainer and Certified Practitioner. I work closely with Judith Richards and support the training and development of TRTP practitioners. This has given me a deep practical understanding of the process—not only how it is structured, but why connection, clarity and care matter so much when it is delivered.

What first drew me to TRTP was its logic. People can understand what happened to them, recognise their patterns and work hard to manage their symptoms, yet still find themselves reacting automatically. Anxiety, anger, shutdown, self-doubt or relationship triggers can keep returning even when the person knows that the intensity of the reaction does not fit what is happening now.

TRTP is designed to work with what is driving those reactions beneath the surface, without requiring clients to repeatedly retell or relive distressing experiences.

After seeing what can become possible when the process is delivered well, I wanted to work directly with clients. For me, there is nothing more meaningful than walking beside someone as they move from feeling controlled by old reactions towards greater calm, confidence and choice.

The past may explain your reactions. It does not have to keep controlling them.

Working with me

I work with men and women who are tired of managing the same emotional reactions, repeating the same patterns or feeling that they should be “over it by now”—but are not.

You may be experiencing:

  • anxiety, hypervigilance or a nervous system that will not switch off
  • stress, overwhelm, exhaustion or shutdown
  • low mood, disconnection or loss of motivation
  • anger, irritability or reactions that feel out of proportion
  • low confidence, self-doubt or self-esteem struggles
  • relationship triggers and repeating patterns
  • trauma-related responses that continue to affect everyday life

My style is calm, honest, direct and practical. I will explain the process clearly, answer your questions openly and meet you without judgement. You do not need to arrive with the right words, justify what happened or prove that your experience was “bad enough.” If it continues to affect how you think, feel, respond or live, it matters.

Every client is different, so the work is individualised within TRTP’s clear and structured process. We begin with what is happening for you now, what you want to change and whether TRTP is suitable for your needs. My role is to guide you through the process with compassion, integrity and a clear focus on addressing what is driving the reactions beneath the surface—not simply placing more coping strategies on top of them.

You can expect a genuine conversation, a clearly explained process and a practitioner who will work beside you without jargon, pressure or pretence.

If you have already done a great deal of work on yourself but still feel caught in the same reactions, a complimentary strategy session gives us the opportunity to talk honestly about what you are experiencing, how TRTP works and whether working together is the right fit. There is no pressure and no obligation.
